By now everyone has probably heard the big news that is overshadowing all other current events in the United Kingdom: Prince William and Kate Middleton are engaged to be married. With the breaking of this news, reporters have speculated on every minute detail from the designer of the future princess’s dress to the catering company.

This past weekend, I realized that fall is beginning to loose its grip to winter, and I needed to do a little getaway and get out of the city for one last ice-free weekend at camp. It is pretty miraculous when you leave the hustle and bustle of the city and enter into quiet.
