The English Students’ Association (ESA) hosted an Open Mic night in the Study on Mar. 16. The crowd grew until there was hardly an empty seat in the coffee shop. By the time performances had started, all in attendance were eager to experience the creative offerings of students and faculty. They were not disappointed.

The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly

A poetry night was recently organized by the English Student Association (ESA) to celebrate another successful issue of The Artery – Lakehead’s major creative writing publication. After paying $5, visitors were able to grab a copy fresh off the press and enjoy an evening of poetry raging in quality and content from good to bad to ugly.
