On Friday, November 22, 2019 the Extramural Women's Basketball team travelled to Humber College for their first tournament of the season. The Thunderwolves started the day playing the George Brown Huskies at 10:30 am and came out on top claiming their first win of the day at 43-25. Our Thunderwolves’ second game began, back to back, at 11:30 am versus Humber North Hawks and our Thunderwolves pushed hard to claim another win at 35-16. These two wins moved the Thunderwolves straight to the semi-final games at 2:00 pm. Again, they played Humber North Hawks in the semi final game and clenched a spot in the finals by winning 28-17. After watching an exciting afternoon Unified Sport Basketball game, the final game began and our Thunderwolves were again facing the George Brown Huskies. It was a close game, and a tense fourth quarter, but our Thunderwolves came through and won the Championship banner at the Humber North Extramural Basketball Tournament! Thank you to George Brown for their comradery and for playing two competitive games, and congratulations to Laurier Brantford for winning the Fair Play Award.

Congratulations to our fierce Thunderwolves, who have been working extremely hard over the past year to get where they are today.
