The student voice of Lakehead University since 1966

The Argus is an independent and student-run newspaper that operates out of Lakehead University. Since 1966, we have worked diligently as a branch of the Lakehead University Student Union to voice the news and events on behalf of Lakehead students.

For more than fifty years, The Argus has been doing so much more than writing: we’ve been employing students and providing a space for them to explore the world of journalism as well as opportunities to explore their communities on a deeper level.
