On Tuesday, November 9, 2021, “Work in Simcoe County” is hosting its second-ever Virtual Job Fair. The fair will be done over the Brazen virtual platform from 10:00 am-2:00 pm. The intention is to connect local job seekers with local employers in a virtual setting. This is a fantastic opportunity to make an impression and obtain employment, rather than endlessly applying for positions through the impersonal, yet useful, platform of Indeed.

As of October 25, 2021, the website has 2988 open job listings for anyone seeking. For anyone simply seeking to buff up their resume, the website can also direct you to Georgian Career and Employment Services, which offers youth aged 15-30 the opportunity to participate in their FREE Youth Employment Pathways program. This program gives 30 hours a week of training for six weeks to increase your skills and knowledge needed for employment. On your resume, this training will increase your chances of being hired.
