With the winter weather closing in, and the idea of a warm getaway being virtually non-existent this year, food is an easy way to expand your horizons in a different way. Tortilla Twist, located in Fort William’s up-and-coming downtown district, opened in the summer of 2020, making it rather new on the scene.
Their menu offers a variety of tacos, all of which can also be made into burritos, salad, nachos, ‘loaded fries’, or quesadillas. This unique style of meal-planning offers a simple way of fulfilling your cravings without being overloaded by options. They also offer a variety of sides, including street fries and street corn, as well as authentic Mexican sodas to wash it all down with. On top of all of that, Tortilla Twist offers weekly specials, such as taquitos and seasonally-themed tacos.
Located at the old site of Man Vs Meat at 1101 Victoria Avenue East, Tortilla Twist does not offer seating: however, the quick ten minute wait between placing your order and picking it up can easily be filled by visiting any of the wonderful nearby businesses, including KiaOra and Holland Bakery. Live in Port Arthur and don’t want to make your way over to the other side of town? No problem: Tortilla Twist can be found on SkipTheDishes, UberEats, and DoorDash!
Open 11:00 to 8:00 Monday to Saturday, Tortilla Twist is a great option for an affordable, unique, and pandemic-friendly meal that is sure to warm you up this winter season.
